Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR) Minister/Head of National Land Agency (BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) arrived in Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan, Thursday (September 12, 2024).
He came to attend the final meeting of Onward Indonesia Cabinet at the new capital, Nusantara, on Friday.
“I am glad to be able to return to Balikpapan, directly from Surabaya. After this go straight to IKN (Nusantara). Tomorrow there will be a plenary cabinet meeting to discuss various strategic things, as far as I know regarding the transition of leadership from President Joko Widodo to President elect Prabowo Subianto. This is important, a phase that we must guard together,” said Minister AHY as quoted from South Kalimantan National Land Agency's (BPN's) press release on Friday.
He hopes that the leadership transition process will run well on October 20, including at the ATR Ministry/BPN.

“I myself continue to strive to complete my tasks, and achievement targets until October 2024,” said the Minister.
He confirmed that his staff had prepared a baseline that would be submitted to the new government.
“This is important to know which ones are already on the track, which have achieved good results, so they can continue. But there are also several things need special attention so they get better in the future,” he said.
Minister AHY's arrival in Balikpapan was welcomed by Minister's Special Staff for Law and Legislation Sigit Raditya; Head of East Kalimantan BPN Deni Ahmad Hidayat and staff, Head of the Balikpapan City Land Office Herman Hidayat; and a number of heads of land office in the province.
Accompanying him were Special Staff for Internal Management Agust Jovan Latuconsina and Head of the Ministry's Public Relation Harison Mocodompis.
Upon arrival at Sepinggan Balikpapan International Airport, Minister AHY spoke with a number of Onward Indonesia Cabinet ministers.
