The Provincial Government of South Kalimantan launches "Nature Exhibition Banua Botanical Garden" to provide the Banua Botanical Garden in Banjarbaru a place for the public to learn in-depth knowledge about plants.
The provincial government's Assistant for General Administration Ahmad Bagiawan on Wednesday said here people can learn the world of plants, from evolution of plants, appearance of stems, seeds, leaves, and the orchir calender.
"Also information about endemic and rare plants," he said.
Ahmad, who represented Governor Sahbirin Noor, said that the launch of Nature Exhibition Banua Botanical Garden is one of innovations that should be developed for the progress of Banua or South Kalimantan.

He continued that this is a very important and stragegic initiative for the Banua Botanical Garden and all the people of South Kalimantan.
Through the Nature Exhibition, Ahmad pointed out, that the provincial government is realizing the commitment of green revolution movement by providing educational venue and it also becomes a source of increasing income for the Banua Botanical Garden which has the status of the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD).
Ahmad hopes that the Nature Exhibition to motivate allelement of society to innovate and work for the progress of South Kalimantan, including Kebun Raya Banua or the Banua Botanical Garden.
Meanwhile, acting Head of the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the Banua Botanical Garden Adilla Redha Yanti said that the Nature Exhibition is a manifestation of the provincial government's concern for education about plant conservation and biodiversity.
She hopes that the Nature Exhibition becomes the new choice for people to visit Banua.
"While playing, visitors can also learn about the plants of South Kalimantan with an attractive and contemporary appearance," said Adilla.
The managemewnt applies a rate of IDR5,000 per person for the entrance fee to the Nature Of Exhibition Banua Botanical Garden.
