Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - 17 graduates of vocational schools (SMK) in Tabalong get a scholarship to China in cooperation with the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Open Learning (SEAMOLEC) with Indonesia government.
Head of Advanced and Secondary Education of Tabalong Education Agency Rosdianoor here on Thursday said the scholarship to China will be assistance from the local government through the 2015 district budget funds.
To continue school to China, Rosdianoor said, each student in the first year will be getting help around Rp20 million per person and further adapted to the needs.
17 vocational graduates who pass the SEAMOLEC scholarship respectively 12 graduates of SMK 1 Murung Pudak, two students from SMK Muara Ura and the rest of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung.
Previously, representative of SEAMOLEC, AB Susanto socialized to the principals about the scholarship program for high school or SKM graduates in Tabalong for education in China and Korea.
Education Agency also provides Rp10 million scholarships to Juni Andrian who will go to college to the University of Esa Tunggal Nanjing Xiaozhuang China.
