Kandangan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The 1003 Kandangan Military District Command (Kodim) represented the Regional VI Mulawarman Military Command (Kodam) in the territorial building competition (binter) at the national level in 2019.
Regent South Hulu Sungai (HSS) H Achmad Fikry here on Thursday (29/3) said he was optimistic that Kodim Kandangan would become the best Kodim Binter in Indonesia.
"Kodim 1003 Kandangan can do it, because its spirit of togetherness, spirit of synergy, and its spirit of mutual cooperation was very strong," he said in a meeting with the central level Binter Assessment Competition Team at the regent's hall.
He explained to the chairperson of the team Colonel Arm Dedi Nor Hadiman from the TNI Headquarters that the synergy between the district government and the TNI in HSS had been very well established.
Thanks to this, the atmosphere ahead of the simultaneous elections in 2019 is considered very conducive. While in 2017 the district government has built eight houses for Babinsa (a village supervisory non-commissioned officer from TNI) and Babinkamtibmas (Public order officers from National Police).
"We are also very grateful because in 2018 the TNI through Kodam 1003 Kandangan has implemented TMMD in Padang Batung Subdistrict. God willing, the results of the TMMD with the approval of the DPRD will continue with the TNI other service program," he said.
