Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Sultan Suriansyah Hospital owned by the Banjarmasin City Government is scheduled to operate on September 24, 2019, to coincide with the 493rd anniversary of the city of Banjarmasin, by opening 23 clinics.
Mayor H Ibnu Sina took the time to attend the hospital's operational acceleration team meeting on Wednesday.
"The meeting discussed the procurement of medical devices this year with the budget allocated Rp23 billion in the pure budget of 2019," said Mayor H Ibnu Sina.
He acknowledged that the procurement of these medical equipment requires IDR 65 billion, but with the available funds now around IDR 23 billion must be maximally used for the most important.
"Of the several dozen clinics that are planned to be operated, there are those who have not yet completed their medical devices. The budget requirements will be allocated to the budget changes," he said.
The rest is left, said Ibnu Sina, with the Special Allocation Fund (DAK), so that all can operate as a whole hospital.
"Related to the three buildings that will be built for patients will be sought to be completed this year," he said
Acting Head of the Health Office Lukman Hakim said that the operation of the emergency room and 23 clinics would certainly be carried out on September 24, 2019.
Because, he said, only about three clinics were not fully equipped with medical equipment for this year's budget, namely, nerve clinics, mental clinics, and medical records.
For other things, continued Lukman, the community health center (puskesmas) could lend it to help complete medical equipment at the hospital which was built from 2015.
