Kandangan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Regent of Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS), South Kalimantan, H Syafrudin Noor encouraged the local youth to take advantage of free agribusiness school program.
"Our program focus on education, particularly agribusiness. Let's take advantage on this opportunity," said the Regent during a Ramadan Safari at Darussa’adah Mosque, Kalumpang Sub-district, Tuesday.
This program is open to those who interested in studying agribusiness, which is currently offered at high vocational school of SMK Negeri 2 Kandangan, and is free.

The local government also offering scholarship for those wishing to continue their studies at the Syekh Salman Al Farisi Islamic Polythecnic in Rantau.
Regardidng Ramadan Safari, the Regent said, the current Ramadan atmosphere need to be maintained not only during the fasting month, but also afterward.
"Let us make this Ramadan as an opportunity to improve ourselves, both our relationship with God and other, and to strengthen good relationship (silaturahmi)," said the Regent.

He also emphasized that Ramadan is not only a time for reflection, but also to awakening and growing hopes.
The Ramadan Safari was also included a religious sermon delivered by Tuan Guru H Ahmad Syairazi.
Also attended were Chair of HSS Family Empowerment and Welfare driving team (TP-PKK) Hj Tata Syafrudin Noor, Deputy Regent H Suriani with Chair of the Women Combined Organization (GOW) Hj Misnawati Suriani, habaib, alim ulama, community leaders, and residents of Kalumpang.
