Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The district government of Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan Province, is committed to continue to align regional development programs with national policies.
It was stated by Tanah Bumbu Regent Andi Rudi Latif at a hearing on development planning and public services with the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB) in Jakarta currently.
"This meeting was an important momentum for us in Tanah Bumbu to align regional development planning with the direction of national policy," said Regent Andi Rudi Latif in Batulicin, Wednesday.

He said development planning must not only be documented, but must also have direct impact on society.
The Regent in this audience also conveyed the district's achievement and progress in bureaucratic reform. In 2023, it recorded Bureaucratic Reform Index value of 68.75 percent or in B category, then increased to 72.04 percent to BB category in 2024.
Meanwhile, its SAKIP (the government agency performance accountability system) score has remained in B category for the last two years, hoping to improve to A category or at least BB in 2025
Tanah Bumbu showed a significant increase in Public Service Index (IPP),from 3.20 in B- category in 2023 to 3.79 in good category in 2024.
The Regent also highlighted the importance of strengthening integrity zone. Since 2019 only one work unit achieving the title of corruption-free areas (WBK), it was the Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil).
He emphasized his government's commitment to encourage more SKPDs or governent working units to win the WBK or the high target of clean and serving bureaucratic areas (WBBM) through systematic, measurable and participatory approach.
"We really hope that through this audience, Tanah Bumbu to get direction and synergy from the ministry. This is to perfect the development steps and bureacratic reform that we are implementing ," said the Regent.
