The government of Tanah Laut District (Tala), South Kalimantan, has again distributed land certificates to its residents. As many as 580 land certificates were handed over to residents of Bumi Makmur Sub-district through the complete systematic land registration (PTSL) program, Wednesday (Dec 4, 2024).
"These certificates are the results of collaboration between the Tanah Laut Public Works, Spatial Planning, and Land Agency (DPUPRP) with the Land Office (Kantah)," said Tanah Laut acting Assistant for General Administration H Akhmad Hairin here on Wednesday.

According to him, all the expenses for the certificate were funded by the district budget (APBD).
He empasized that certificate ownership is very important for legal certainty of land for the community.
“Alhamdulillah (Thank God), today the regional government has again handed over certificates to hundreds of residents. This certificate guarantees legal protection for land owned by the community,” explained Hairin representing acting Regent of Tanah Laut H Syamsir Rahman.
The certificates submitted were 567 for residents of Handil Birayang Bawah Village, one certificate for Handil Gayam Village, and 12 certificates for people in Raden Village, Kurau Sub-district.
