Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The City Government of Banjarbaru has won two prestigious awards from the Provincial Government of South Kalimantan in public service and governance.
Governor Sahbirin Noor handed over the awards at the appreciation ceremony for Good Governance at the 2024 South Kalimantan Public Service Coordination Meeting at the Mahligai Pancasila building, Banjarmasin, Tuesday (May 21, 2024).
Banjarbaru Mayor Muhammad Aditya Mufti Ariffin said he was proud of the two awards for the Public Service Mall (MPP) with excellent category and first place for Indeks Ber-AKHLAK or Moral Index.

"Alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah), we are grateful that Banjarbaru City Government wins two provincial government's prestigious awards. Hopefully we can maintain them in the future," he pointed out.
Banjarbaru's MPP won the excellent category with a score of 79.75 and the Ber-AKHLAK or core values for state employees index 69.00, which is the highest score in South Kalimantan.
Aditya said that the two awards were concrete proof that the ranks of Banjarbaru government provide good public service and carry out good governance.
"This means that (our) MPP provides satisfactory to citizens, so that it gets good assessment and ultimately results in an award from South Kalimantan government," he said.
Meanwhile, the best Ber-AKHLAK indext was achieved by Banjarbaru as a result of it success in implementing moral values (Ber-AKHLAK) for every employee in their daily work activities.
"Ber-AKHLAK is mandated in the latest ASN (state civil apparatus) Law and is the basis in determining work targets and policies, thus we strengthen work culture and build employee awareness to reach standards," he said.
