Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - DPRD Chairman of Kotabaru District, South Kalimantan Province, Syairi Mukhlis "Wonderland Kotabaru" tourism exhibition, which was held at main atrium, ground floor of Duta Mall, Banjarmasin.
"We appreciate Tourism, Youth, and Sport Office (Disparpora) for continously introducing our tourism to the wider public," said Syairi Mukhlis in Kotabaru, Sunday.
The exhibition, which promoted Kotabaru's tourist destinations, organized by Disparpora, presented the Kotabaru people's art and culture for visitors.
"The output is to increase the number of visitors to Kotabaru," he said.

The increase in the number of visitors from within and outside the region will have an impact on increasing Kotabaru's pure regional revenue (PAD).
In addition, he said, this exhibition combines the concept of creative economy by showcasing local products, handicrafts, typical foods and work of art from Kotabaru.
"This certainly provides an opportunity for local business actors to expand their market reach and increasing their income," he said.
Syairi hopes that the increasing number of tourist visits will increase various economic impact so Kotabaru's economic cycle will grow and develop.
