Banjarmasin, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - The City Government of Banjarmasin through its Trade and Industry Office has made an app named "Dedikasi" to detect and early control inflation.
Head of the Trade and Industry Ichrom Muftezar here on Wednesday (Oct 11, 2023) said the app is aim to strengthen information on prices of important basic commodities and their stocks.
"Second is collaboration to hold a low-price market," he said.
Third, said Tezar, inter-regional cooperation to jointly overcome the continous increase in prices of basic commodities over a certain period of time.

To strengthen information to wider community through "Dedikasi", his office is carrying out intensive monitoring of prices of most prominent basic necessities, especially in 13 markets in the city.
"Some important basic commodities prices according to the latest information are directly entered into the apps, thus everyone knows price movements," he said.
In this way, said Tezar, if there is an increase, in slowly or even to maximum entent, everything is reported to the leadership, namely the mayor, deputy mayor, regional secretary, including all related agencies.
"This makes us easier to move quickly to overcome or curb inflation," he said.
He gaves an example, if rice price rises high, the city government can directly coordinate with Bulog to control the price so as not to become high.
"Or we can also carry out market operation," he said.
