Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - "Alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah) I am able to go for free umrah from Adaro," said Halimah, one of the winners of free Umrah from PT Adaro Indonesia.
The resident of North Hulu Sungai (HSU) District was one of participants of Adaro's free vaccination and was lucky to receive door prize for Umrah along with other nine winners.
Halimah expressed her gratitude as the free umrah pilgrims were sent off by the management of Adaro at 101 Hotel, Soekarno Hatta Airport, Jakarta, Tuesday (March 1, 2022).
The symbolic handover of ihram cloth to Halimah as the winners' representative marked the release of the umrah pilgrims by Independent Commissioner of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk Budi Bowoleksono, Director of Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation (YABN) Okty Damayanti, and President Director of Abhinaya PT Dava Tour & Travel Pandu Apriyanto.
"Hopefully Adaro will continue to prosper and always share, especially for remote communities," said Halimah again.
Apart from Halimah, the recipients of umrah gift came from Tabalong, Balangan, East Barito, and South Barito which are part of Adaro's operational area.
The awarding of umrah trip gift isa form of Adaro's appreciation to the people who participated in Adaro Free Vaccination Program which was held on October 25 to November 1, 2021.
Free vaccination was part of Adaro Fighting for Indonesia Program in a series of activities to help the people of Indonesia in handling the COVID-19 outbreak.
Adaro administered as many as 16,623 doses of vaccine to the people in five districts in South and Central Kalimantan which are Adaro's operational area.
