Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Air Force Operation Commander (Pangkoopsau) II Air Vice Marshal Minggit Tribowo gave an award to the asset team of Sjamsudin Noor Banjarmasin Air Base for their success of certifying 996 hectares Dwi Harmono Air Weapon Range (AWR) in Maluka Baulin, Tanah Laut District.
"This is a form appreciation from the leadership of the Air Force Headquarters for the good performance of Sjamsudin Noor Air Base in asset management," said Minggit at the Dwi Harmono shooting range in Kurau Sub-district, Tanah Laut, Wednesday.
Under the command of Sjamsudin Noor Air Base Commander Colonel Pnb Yulmaizir Chaniago, three personnel received awards, namely Major Kal Dedy Nolas, Second Lieutenant Sus Ananta Riza, and Chief Corporal A. Syahromi.
To A. Syahromi, Pangkoopsau II immediately offered him a school and was welcomed with joy by the member.
The special appreciation was also given by the two-star general to the Regent of Tanah Laut Sukamta and Head of the Tanah Laut Land Office Ahmad Suhaimi for their contribution and cooperation in synergizing with the Sjamsudin Noor Air Base in the certification of the state asset.
According to Minggit, the assets managed by Sjamsudin Noor are not only for the benefit of the defense aspect, but also support development in general in South Kalimantan.
"If it is for the benefit of the community in order to increase the welfare, please use this asset to the maximum. Of course in accordance with the discipline of the rules," he expounded.
Sukamta said that the existence of land around the AWR Dwi Harmono is very useful in improving the community's economy, such as for farming and developing livestock.
