Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranwsKalsel) - Acting Regional Secretary of Banjarbaru, Said Abdullah, planned a narcotics and dangerous drugs test to civil servants of the local government.
"The urine test aims to determine whether there are unscrupulous employees taking narcotics and dangerous drugs," he said in Banjarbaru on Saturday.
His statement was to answer reporters' questions related to Secretary of East Landasan Ulin Village, Banjarbaru, arrested for crystal methamphetamine use (31/3).
"It is possible there is other civil servant who take narcotics and dangerous drugs, so it requires a urine test to determine," said Said, who is also the Head of Planning Board of Banjarbaru municipal government.
According to him, the use of narcotics greatly affect the performance of employees as those who eat them are not able to carry out duties as a state apparatus.
"The effects of narcotics not only dangerous, it also make the wearer can not work because of addiction and make the wearer look for various ways to use them," he said.
