Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Mayor of Banjarbaru HM Aditya Mufti Ariffin received 5,000 rapid antigen test kits from South Kalimantan acting Governor Safrizal ZA, Thursday.
Acting Governor, who was visiting Banjarbaru as part of his Ramadhan 1442 Hijriyah Safari, was welcomed by Mayor, Deputy Mayor Wartono, and the elements of Forkopimda (regional leadership communication forum), head of Health Agency, and other invitations.
In addition to hand over rapid antigen test kits, the acting Governor distributed fund assistance for several mosques in the city and was witnessed by the Mayor and the invitations.
"We are grateful for the assistance of 5,000 rapid antigen test kits and will be used for the need in handling COVID-19," said the Mayor.

The acting Governor asked the public to continue to apply health protocol, including when performing Ramadhan worship, so they can avoid COVID-19, which has a high transmission rate.
"Always apply health protocol when praying tarawih by wearing masks, maintain your distance, and avoiding crowds, so you can prevent the transmission of COVID-19," he reminded.
Acting Governor asked mosques administrators to use the grant funds for the prosperity of the mosque, some of which can be used for handling COVID-19 around the mosque environment.
