"We are grateful for the assistance and they will be distributed for medical personnel in handling COVID-19," said Mayor, who was accompanied by Deputy Mayor Wartono, Thursday.
The assistance of 320 hazmat suits was considered very helpful for Banjarbaru and will be distributed to hospitals, puskesmas (community health centers), and vaccinators throughout the city.

The Q Mall Banjarbaru ACE Hardware Store Manager Amrullah said that the PPE aid came from the Kawan Lama Foundation, which houses social activities for assisting the handling of COVID-19.
"This assistance is a form of concern and support for handling COVID-19 and is the third donation. Previous (assistance) was in the form of hand sanitizer and masks," he said.
The assistance has been received by the Mayor was 200 pieces of hazmat, while 100 pieces for puskesmas, and 20 pieces for funeral workers.
