Martapura, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Gambut Sector Police, Banjar District, South Kalimantan, seized 30,000 pills of illicit drugs kind Zenith Carnophen and right-handed its owner.
Gambut chief police AKP Komang Yustrio in Martapura on Sunday said the suspect owner of thousands drugs initials NR secured on Friday (20/2).
Evidence seized 200 boxes of Zenit Carnophen or 20,000 pills and 10 bags of Dextro each bag containing 1,000 pills.
According to the police chief, the success seizing tens of thousands of drugs originated from society's information said a public transport, white Colt L300 Banjarmasin-Batulicin route being refueled at the Km 17 fuel station bring illegal drugs.
"The officer immediately move to the location and found the car then searched to find a box containing drugs," said police chief.
The driver with initials MT claimed he was carrying the property of NR. Officers then lure him to come take the goods.
"The suspect secured by officers when take drugs in public transport and brought to the police station," he said.
NR violates Article 197 Jo 107 Law Decree 36 of 2009 on health with the threat of imprisonment up to five years and a maximum fine of Rp1.5 billion.
"Any person who intentionally produce or distribute pharmaceutical or medical devices that do not have a marketing authorization threatened imprisonment and fines," he said.
