Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - COVID vaccination in Tabalong District is still being carried out in a number of health facilities, including puskesmas (community health centers), private clinics, and hospitals.
A spokesman for the Tabalong vaccination Gusti Judid Ikhsan Permana said so far 812 people had received the COVID jabs.
"We target 1,437 people in the first stage of vaccination and the realization has reached 56.61 percent o 812 people," he said.
The second phase of vaccination is planned for members of TNI (Indonesian Military), Polri (National Police) and public service officers, including journalists.
Judid said that currently, 33 vaccinators have received training from the Ministry of Health.
"The plan for the second phase of vaccination at the end of February is targeting TNI/Polri and public services," Judid explained.
One of journalists in Tabalong Suhardi said that he was ready to get a COVID jab. "We must support government programs in an effort to prevent COVID-through vaccination," he said.
