Paringin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - PT Adaro Indonesia handed over 16 thousand cloth masks to the Balangan BPBD, Tuesday (July 7, 2020). The assistance was received by the head of the agency Alive Yoesfah Love.
It was the third stage of assistance provided by the company. Previously Adaro had submitted 20 thousand masks, bringing the total to 36 thousand masks handed over to the BPBD.
According to Alive, the masks from the previous stage of assistance had been distributed to the community of Balangan. The agency will again distributed the 16 thousand free masks to the public.
"We thank PT Adaro Indonesia for these masks assistance. We hope these are useful for the residents of Balangan," Alive said.
Meanwhile, PT Adaro Indonesia's CSR Department Head Leni Marlina said, this mask assistance was a form of commitment of the company in supporting the local government in the fight against the transmission of COVID-19, especially in its operational area.
“This pandemic is indeed worrying, but we must be optimistic we can get through it together,” she said.
