Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Head of the South Kalimantan Education and Culture Office HM Yusuf Effendi said that a success of a student of a state school for the disabled SLB A Negeri 3 Martapura (40 kilometers north of Banjarmasin) should inspire other students in the province.
"Nur Fatimah Asmidayanti, a SLB A Negeri 3 Martapura student won the first place in the National 2020 SLB Poetry Creation Competition for junior high school," he said when he was at the South Kalimantan DPRD, Wednesday.
The Martapura SLB student presented a poetry "Berbeda dan Bersatu, Karena Kita Indonesia" (Different and United, Because We Are Indonesia) in a competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
"The contents of the poem illustrated the importance of unity and unitary for Indonesia which has indeed been destined to differ to achieve the goal of ideals of the Proclamation of Independence on August 17, 1945," M Yusuf said.

The same thing was conveyed by the Chairman of Commission IV overseeing people welfare of the DPRD HM Lutfi Saifuddin from Gerindra. He said, the SLB student should naturally be given an appreciation to motivate other students to win achievements.
