Rantau, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - As many as 183 offroaders from South and Central Kalimantan explored the charm of Tapin adventure tourism in the Bahayau Dilicak 8, Hayau Tarus 6 Adventure Offroad 4x4 event.
The event which took start in the Rantau City Forest Area, Saturday (Dec 7, 2019) held in the frame work of the 54th anniversary of the district.
Governor of South Kalimantan, who was represented by the Development Expert Staff Faried Fakhmansyah said it was a positive activity that could strengthen silaturrahmi (good relation) among offroaders.
"Hopefully this activity can spread the goodness to the community," he remarked.
He said, South Kalimantan is suitable to be an offroad adventure tourism spot, because of its natural charm is still good. "Some months ago we succeeded in carrying out an international trail-bike activity in South Kalimantan," he pointed out.

Meanwhile, South Kalimantan Regional Police Deputy Chief Brig.Gen. Dr Aneka Pristafuddin, who also present at the event, reminded the participants to always maintain safety of the road.
"Always prioritize safety, ourselves and our vehicles," he said.
Head of the organizing committee of the event Ahdiansyah said there were 183 registered participants from 19 offroad clubs from South and Central Kalimantan.
"The distance to explore is 83 km, and we devide the activity into two categories, extreme and fun," he said.
The release of the offroaders was attended by Deputy Regent of Tapin H Syafruddin Noor, Tapin Police Chief AKBP Hadi Eko Prayitno, Chairman of Indonesian Offroad Foundation for South Kalimantan H Hariyadi.
