Banjarmasin, 29/6 (Antaranews, South Kalimantan) - Chairman of the South Kalimantan Legislative Assembly Nasib Alamsyah said the Interior Ministry has given the "green light" to the problems associated with the Larilarian Island in the District of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan.

He explained that the Ministry of Home Affairs promised in the time immediately issued related Larilarian Island. "The letter is a green light for the South Kalimantan about Larilarian from the Ministry. God willing, we will received the letter around mid-July," he said.
According to the former Military Commander of Bone, South Sulawesi, the statement of the Ministry of Home Affairs will be given the power to South Kalimantan to get the results on the extraction of oil and gas business offshore Larilarian Island.
"Because, however, both historically and geographically and legally, Larilarian Island is in the territory of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, and not located in Majene district, West Sulawesi," he said.
