aviation science and technology." It was attended by students and lecturers, also Chairman of ULM Senate Prof. Dr. Ir H Gusti Muhammad Hatta.
Sutarto revealed the cooperation also in preparation for Lapan which in the near future launched a micro satellite with a more professional sensor.
"Of course, it is an honor and pride for ULM to partner with Lapan to be engaged in the implementation of its duties that have a strategic role in our country," said Sutarto.
He remarked that it would continue to encourage other cooperation opportunities with Lapan, so that ULM could play a role in the nation's progress, especially regarding the development of satellite imagery.
According to Sutarto, Indonesia is an archipelagic country, of course all potential disturbances and threats from outside the vulnerable come alternately, such as drug smuggling, illegal fishing, etc. that must be handled seriously by all elements of the nation, not least ULM in the context of helping Lapan continue to monitor using satellites.
"So, Lapan is increasingly complementing the cooperation of ULM which previously also signed the MoU with Geospatial Information Agency to build Spatial Data Infrastructure Development Center (PPIDS)," he said.
