Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 26/9 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of South Kalimantan Education and Culture Agency (Kadisdikbud) Muhammad Yusuf Effendi stated, urine tests will be conducted on students in the province consisting of 13 districts and cities.
"The urine test is one of the prevention efforts against the use of drugs or illegal drugs by students," he replied reporters at the DPRD South Kalimantan in Banjarmasin, Tuesday.
At any time, he said again, the agency with related law enforcement will raid the students. The goal is that they do not consume or abuse drugs, such as Zenith and PCC, which later became rampant news.
The ranks of the agency also cooperate with related officials to socialize to schools about the dangers of narcotics and illegal drugs.
"With the three programs (socialization, raids and urine tests), we hope in the future students, especially young generations of South Kalimantan, avoid the dangers of narcotics and illegal drugs," he said.
The existence of Kadisdikbud in the DPRD was to discuss more intensive cooperation with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in preventing the circulation and the use of narcotics and illegal drugs among students.
