The export of Hiyung chili pepper products to several European and Asian countries had to be delayed due to product labels and packaging did not meet export qualifications.

Cantika Putri Kehi Lau, a facilitator from Dharma Bakti Astra who coaches Hiyung chili pepper farmers in Hiyung Village, said that currently, her party is revising the product packaging to meet export requirements.

"Right now we are still adjusting the packaging and label to match the qualification for export products," she said when contacted via WhatsApp.

Meanwhile, the Shredded Hiyung Chili Peppers (Abon Cabai Rawit Hiyung), one of Hiyung Chili's processed products, has been registered to the Indonesian Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM RI). "The distribution permit number of processed food from the BPOM is one of the administrative requirements to qualify for export product," she said.

Junaidi, Chairman of Karya Baru Joint Business Group (KUB) said about packaging his party handed over the matter to PT Astra as the coach.

"Hopefully to immediately resolve and can export," Junaidi said.
