One of the Tapin's Hiyung chili processed products, Abon Cabai (shredded chili) has received a distribution permit from the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM).


Chairman of the Karya Baru Joint Business Group (KUB) Junaidi said the distribution permit from BPOM was issued on November 20, 2020.

"Yes, Alhamdulillah the Hiyung chili shredded product already has a distribution permit from BPOM with the trademark number (MD) 255616001074," he said when contacted via telephone.

This license has a very positive impact on the market sector. Amongst are, Hiyung chili products can enter the modern retail market and can enter the export market.

"With this distribution permit, consumers can be sure of the quality of Hiyung chili products, such as cleanliness during processing," he said.

He explained there are several Hiyung chili processed products, including shredded chili and Hiyung chili sauce with various flavors.

"Only the original shredded chili has received a distribution permit from BPOM. Hopefully, other products will follow," he said.

Junaidi thanked all elements, including Tapin District Government, PT Astra, and all those who had played the role that the Hiyung chili could obtain a distribution permit from BPOM.
