Study hard, set targets, and prepare everything as much as possible was a strategy applied by Auladina Shalihah, the best graduate of the State Islamic University (UIN) Antasari Banjarmasin. The graduation was held in a limited face to face and dan virtually via Zoom and Youtube, Saturday (Nov 7, 2020).
Auladina Shalilah was an Islamic Religious Education student of batch 2016. She obtained a bachelor's degree in eight semesters and successfully defended her thesis “The Implementation of Alquran Reading and Writing Program at the State Islamic High School (MAN) 1 Central Hulu Sungai” on June 3, 2020.
The second daughter of Zuhdi (late) and Syahidah revealed that even though she grew up in a humble family did not prevent her optimism from moving.
Her condition as an orphan did not make her dissolved in lamenting her fate. She was very grateful, her mother as a single parent always supports her to work and study a high as possible.
"I want to be successful, make my parents happy, and give benefits to many people. To make that happen, I have to be serious," she said.
The graduate, who was born in Barabai, Central Hulu Sungai (HST), June 27, 1998, aspires to become a lecturer. She has won various competitions, from the district, university, to provincial level.
Auladina won 3rd place in Alquran recitation for high school in Central Hulu Sungai Regency (2013), 3rd winner of Alquran memorizing in HST's MTQ (2014), 2nd winner in population speeches held by BKKBN across South Kalimantan (2015).
Then 1st winner in the LPPQ UIN Antasari Alquran recitation in Banjarmasin (2017), 2nd winner in short story writing contest at the PORSENI (Sport and Art Games) of the Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty of the UIN Antasari Banjarmasin (2018), and 1st winner of writing short story at the PORSENI for Islamic Religious Major of the UIN Antasari Banjarmasin (2019).
Auladina said that a difficult life cannot be used as an excuse to stop the creation and making achievements.
Her determination was realized with the opportunity to get a Bidik Misi scholarship which greatly supported the smooth running of her education. She also won the 2015 and 2019 National Data Print (Essay Competition) scholarship.
"I am happy with all the achievements. I make all of that a mandate and responsibility when bringing my self to the real community," she said.
Now, Auladina Shalihah continues her education at the master prgram at her alma mater campus of UIN Antasari Banjarmasin.
