Melda Rahmawati, an Usih Villager, Bintang Ara Sub-district, won Miss Tourism of Tabalong 2020 organized by the Youth, Sport, and Tourism Office, Tuesday (3/11) night.
Melda had defeated six other finalists and entitled to the crown of the 2020 Tabalong Miss Tourism.
The kindergarten teacher received the crown from the 2019 Tabalong Miss Tourism Arraudah Qurratu Ainie.
"I am very happy to be able to participate in tourism and help to promote it," she said.
Meanwhile, the first runner-up was won by Amelia Debora and Selfia Noor Herlina Wati was in the second runner-up.
The Tabalong Miss Tourism contest was delayed for several months following the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
As many as 50 contestants enlivened the selection of the Putri Pariwisata 2020 (the 2020 Miss of Tourism) while implementing the COVID-19 health protocol.
Seven contestants were finally selected by the jury to advance to the grand final which was held on Tuesday night at the Tanjung Information Center Building.
