COVID-19 positive case in South Kalimantan has increased again with another 20 cases compared to Monday (May 4, 2020) with 199 cases and now became 219 cases.

The South Kalimantan government's spokesman for the Control and Acceleration Handling of COVID-19 HM Muslim in Banjarbaru late Tuesday said, the surge of the positive number on the result of the team search from several districts.

The addition from the result of tracking was 17 cases, namely one case from Barito Kuala (Batola), one from Tapin, eight from Tanah Bumbu, and seven from Banjarmasin. The remaining three cases came from Patients Under Surveillance (PDP) who had tested positive for PCR COVID-19.

The three confirmed positive patients (PDP) are two being treated at the Idaman Banjarbaru Hospital and one in the District Hospital of Ratu Zaleha Martapura.

Of the total 219 cases, 33 cases were in hospital care, 142 cases of self-isolation or special quarantine, 32 people were declared recovered and 12 people died.

While the distribution of the case is Banjarmasin 67 cases, with 43 people in treatment, 14 recovered, and 10 died. Tanah Bumbu 31 cases, with details of 29 in care and two had recovered.

Tanah Laut 13 cases, 11 in treatment, and two recovered, Kotabaru one case in treatment, Banjar 18 cases with details of 12 in treatment, 5 recovered, and one died.

Batola 38 cases, 36 in care and two recovered, Tapin 11 cases, 10 in treatment, and one died.

South Hulu Sungai (HSS) four cases, three in treatment, and one recovered. Then Central Hulu Sungai (HST) three in treatment, Tabalong six cases, four in treatment, and two recovered.

Balangan two cases, one in treatment and one recovered, andBanjarbaru 25 cases, 22 in care, and three recovered.
