Pelaihari, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The 104th TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) Task Force from Kodim 1009 Pelaihari, South Kalimantan, provided family planning health care (KB) counseling, film screenings and entertainment, in the yard of the Martadah Baru Village Office, Monday (18/3) night.
Member of the TMMD Task Force Captain Yusuf Tandi revealed that family planning health education was carried out by representatives of the South Kalimantan BKKBN (National Family Planning Board).
"There are five crew and four representatives of the P2KB along with one counselor providing counseling," he said.
While public health counseling, he said, is related to the importance of maintaining conditions and ways to overcome hypertension.
"Especially for film screenings, there is a message about family planning. The aim is to maintain the health of infants and mothers and overcome the rate of population growth," he explained.
Captain Yusuf Tandi added, the event was attended by the residents of Martadah Baru Village, which was ended at about 11:00 p.m.
