Amuntai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The North Hulu Sungai Government, South Kalimantan, through the Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs Agency (Disperindagkop & UKM) re-records small and medium industries (IKM) to facilitate guidance and databases for the central government.
Head of Trade of the agency Muhammad Yani in Amuntai on Friday said, re-registration is needed because some IKM players switched business to other types of businesses.
"Re-registration is carried out for the development of IKM, because IKM actors partially switch businesses and to find out their development and growth in HSU district," he said.
Yani said, in addition to obtaining valid data, the re-registration is intended for evaluation on the performance of the related agency which had been involved in guiding the IKM.
"So that we know the extent of the goals achieved through coaching so far," he said.
About the procedure, he explained. "The sub-district officer will coordinate with the village head with assistance from field counseling workers, thus the accurate information is obtained on the development, growth, or decline in the number of IKMs throughout the HSU."
Secretary of the agency Ahmad Radhani when opening the IKM data collection socialization here informed that the central government is indeed currently re-registering IKM throughout Indonesia.
"The data is very much needed by the central government through Bappenas to support development throughout Indonesia." he said.
