Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Darul Ulum College of Tarbiyah Sciences (STIT) has played a major role in creating high-quality and noble human resources, said the regent.
Kotabaru Regent Sayed Jafar spoke in his remarks read by the Regent's Expert Staff on Government Affairs H. Akhmad Rivai during the 20th Bachelor Graduation Program of the PAI STIT Darul Ulum Kotabaru S1 Program.
The graduation was attended by the Chairman of Kopertais (the Coordination for Private Higher Education Region XI Kalimantan/Chancellor of the State Islamic University of Antasari Banjarmasin, Forkopimda, Chairman of the MUI, Chairman of the Al-Mu'awanah Jam'iyah Nahdatul Ulama Kotabaru Islamic Education Foundation, Chair of STIT Darul Ulum Kotabaru,, lecturers, and graduates.
Those who graduated from the S-1 Program were 77 students, namely 34 men and 43 women.
The regent said that the better the quality of public education would also contribute to the improvement of the Human Development Index in Kotabaru.
The regent told the graduates that they really make the knowledge they gained as a handle in the midst of the tumult of life today.
They are currently, he said, not an ordinary society but a scientific society, because they have more knowledge and education to become role models in everyday life.
