Kandangan, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The South Hulu Sungai Prosecutors Office (Kejari) held a "Jaksa Masuk Sekolah 2018" (JMS) or Prosecutor Goes to School program in collaboration with the Education Agency.
Head of the HSS Prosecutors Office Sugeng Riadi in Kandangan, Thursday (25/1) said JMS is implemented to provide knowledge, educate, and introduce the students to the law.
"By knowing the law and criminal matters from an early age, it is expected that students can understand and avoid criminal cases," he said.
He explained the things students need to know, such as the prohibition of carrying and taking drugs, bringing sharp weapons, to other criminal cases.
Do not let the future of the students be damaged because of criminal cases. For that his office wants the younger generation to know the science of law and the cases that cause anyone entangled law.
JMS 2018 is planned to be routinely held every month, not only to focus the students in school but also to Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in HSS.
"We will seek JMS 2018 routine every month so that in a year we will do as many as 12 times," he said when giving material JMS in Education Agency Hall in Kandangan, Wednesday (25/1) morning.
The activity was followed by hundreds of junior and senior high school students across HSS, who enthusiastically listened to JMS material.
