Pelaihari, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Student Association of Muhammadiyah Students of Tanah Laut (IPMM Tala) held a National Seminar on Ecology as a Pre-Tanwir (enlightenment) of IPMM across Indonesia in Sarantang Saruntung Building here on Saturday (13/1).
Regent of Tanah Laut H Bambang Alamsyah in his speech read by Acting Assistant for Governance Bambang Kadarusman admitted very proud and happy that National Ecology Seminar in the framework of Pre-Tanwir held in the district.
He hoped that the seminar can be used as an effort to develop, giving awareness, and adding insight for the community, especially young people on environment or ecology.
The seminar featured the ecological empowerment through sustainable development. Regent assessed this is the right moment for us to remember the importance of development without forgetting to preserve the environment.
The opening ceremony of the seminar was attended by the Secretary of Muhammadiyah South Kalimantan Executive Board, representatives of IPMM Center, the Muhammadiyah district executive board and chairman of IPMM-Tala.
