Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Regional Office of the Ministry of Law (Kanwil Kemenkum) in South Kalimantan has awarded the Kotabaru District Government for its contribution to supporting duties and function of the Ministry in the region.
Head of the Regional Office Alex Cosmas Pinem said that the award was a form of appreciation while strengthening synergy between the Ministry of Law, local government, educational institutions, banking and other partners.

“This synergy is key to providing a better, more adaptive, and legal service that favor the community. We are grateful for the support of all parties who have worked together to build legal ecosystem and public services in South Kalimantan,” he said in Banjarmasin as reported on Friday.
The awarding was an important part of the commemoration of the 80th Protection Day by the South Kalimantan Regional Office of Ministry of Law.
The partners receiving the awards were:
1. The districts government of Balangan, Hulu Sungai Selatan, Kotabaru, Banjarmasin City Government, and the Provincial Government of South Kalimantan for their contribution to the advancement and protection of intellectual property ecosystem;
2. South Kalimantan Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises Office for accelerating the establishment of Red and White co-ops in 2,013 villages/urban villages;
3. The State Islamic University (UIN) Antasari Banjarmasin, for facilitating CAT selection for civil servant candidates (CPNS) in 2024;
4. Militaqry Physical Education of the 101/Antasari Provincial Military Command and Bhayangkara Banjarmasin Hospital for supporting physical fitness and health test for CPNS in 2024;
5. The Regional VIII Banjarmasin of National Civil Service Agency (BKN) for cooperation in providing personnel product services and PPPK selection;
6. The Indonesian Notaries Association (INI) of south Kalimantan for supporting the establishment of Red and White co-ops;
7. The BRI Banjarmasin Samudera Branch Office for contribution to financial product services, employee benefits, and payroll.
By receiving this award, the Regent of Kotabaru Muhamamd Rusli committed to maintaining this partnership and fully supporting work program of the the South Kalimantan Regional Office of Ministry of Law, particularly in Kotabaru.
