Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The development planning meeting (Musrenbang) in Pulau Laut Sigam Sub-district, which was part of the 2027 Kotabaru District Work Plan (RKPD) preparation, focused on infrastructure and education sector.
Head of Pulau laut Sigam Sub-district Pia Widya Laksmi stated that development proposals from villages and urban villages were priority that were expected to be approved.
"Budget limitations are a development challange, as a sub-district we continue to make optimum efforts to ensure these proposals will be prioritized and benefit us all," she pointed out here as reported on Thursday.

Musrenbang, which involved active participation of community in determining development priorities, aims to obtain initial input in the RKPD drafting process and synchronize development agendas and priorities at the sub-district level with relevant regional agencies.
The organizing committee Satriansyah said that the proposals were addressed to Public Works and Spatial (PUPR) Office and Education Office related to infrastructure and environmental management.
The Regebt Expert Staff for Community and Human Resources Jurainah admitted that sub-istrict an important part of development planning process.
She said, the Kotabaru government is committed to encourage local economic growth through investment climate and strengthening local economy, suppoted by availability of equitable, quality and sustainable infrastructure.

In line with this theme, the government of Kotabaru has set 5 development priorities for 2027, including increasing inclusive ecnomic growth and improving the quality of governance and bureaucratif reform.
On that occasion, the Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Cotrol and Family Planning (PPAPPKB) Office handed over 51 packages of assistance to families with high-quality to address stunting, they include prospective brides, pregnant women, girls at risk of stunting.
Besides the Regent Expert Staff, also attended were DPRD members, Head of Baperida (Regional Development Planning, Research and Innovation Agency), head of BPD (Village Consultative Body), heads of urban villages and villages in Pulau Laut Sigam.
