"A collaboration with ANTARA is certainly very strategic as a media outlet with a broad national and international network," said General Manager of Syamsudin Noor Banjarbaru International Airport Khaerul Assidiqi here on Wednesday.
He said Syamsudin Noor International Airport has been entrusted by the Meratus Geopark Management Agency (BP Geopark Meratus) to promote the geopark, which has been recognized as UNESCO Global Geopark (UGG).
Geopark information space continues to be gradually developed at the airport's arrival terminal.

Various ornaments reflecting Meratus Geopark have been created for public viewing, especially airline passengers.
"We want everyone arriving at the airport to be immediately presented with information about Meratus Geopark, especially people from outside South Kalimantan who visiting here," he said.
He is optimistic with ANTARA's support as a trusted media outlet with extensive network, information about Meratus Geopark will widely be known to people throughout the archipelago, and even internationally.
Head of ANTARA's South Kalimantan Bureau Taufik Ridwan acknowledged that news coverage of Meratus Geopark is being continuoisly intensified.
He hopes the news content on Antaranews.com related to Meratus Geopark can be displayed at Syamsudin Noor Banjarbaru Airport to further enriching the promotion of this South Kalimantan's geological heritage.
"The airport is the gateway to South Kalimantan through the busy air traffic here. As ANTARA has committed, the airport's role is certainly very crucial in promoting Meratus Geopark to attract tourists," he said.
