Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - A State Administration Institute (LAN) of the Republic of Indonesia official appreciates the efforts of South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor to make this area a center for education and training for civil state apparatus (ASN).
LAN's Deputy for Training of Apparatus Dr Muhammad Idris spoke at the opening of Education and Leadership Training (Diklatpim) Level II at Dr KH Idham Chalid Building of the governor office, Banjarbaru, Monday.
According to him, LAN highly appreciates the efforts of the governor and his staff to realize this area as the center of education and training for civil state apparatus, especially Diklatpim II.
"Implementation of Diklatpim II is a test phase before in 2018 South Kalimantan became the place of self-supporting Diklatpim II," he said.
Idris added, the opportunity to become a place of organizing of self-supporting Diklatpim II also supported by the location of South Kalimantan in the middle of Indonesia.
Diklatpim II aims to prepare strategic leaders in the local government bureaucracy.
"They are the ones who will design the national policy and therefore have to be educated with an exceptionally capacity," he said.
Governor Sahbirin Noor said the determination of realizing South Kalimantan as a center of training, especially for high-level leadership, is a determination and a big dream.
"This is my dream when I attended the Jamboree Innovation event in North Kalimantan. This day it became a reality," he said.
Head of Center for Knowledge, Training and Education of Apparatus (PKP2A) III LAN Dr Mariman Darto added, Diklatpim II is the first in Kalimantan in 2017.
Besides that is no less important the collaboration of LANs with the South Kalimantan Provincial Government to establish State Administration Polytechnic in South Kalimantan to develop ASN capacity.
