Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The district government of Tabalong, South Kalimantan, is targeting 20,340 patients to be provided with homecare service, one of the district's priorities.
The Regent of Tabalong H Muhammad Noor Rifani said that this service prioritizes elderly, residents who live alone, people with disabilities, and those with economic difficulties.
“In the future, there will be no more residents who have difficulty accessing health services simply because they are constrained by economic problems," he said here on Friday.
Through homecare service, health officers apply pick up the ball system or visiting prospective patients with the aim of reaching all levels of society.

The Regent is committed to implement Tabalong Pasti Sehat program to ensure quality and easily accesssible health service for all people.
The district government had launched the Tabalong Pasti Sehat program on March 3, 2025. It was marked by the release of 18 homecare car fleets that became integrated health facilities.
This program is expected to maximize health services in line with community aspirations.
Previously, the Regent monitored health services at Mabuun Puskesmas (community health center) in Murung Pudak Sub-district, to assure the implementation of priority programs in health.
“In improving services, there need to be direct monitoring and evaluation to health facilities," said Rifani.
From this review it was observed that homecare service at Mabuun Puskesmas have covered about 51 percent.
Meanwhile, Head of Kelua Puskesmas Ony Erawaty said the realization of homecare service in the fostered area has reached 1,653 people.
"For the first phase of homecare service at Kelua Comunity Health center has reached 100 percent," said Erawaty.
