Banjarmasin, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - The South Kalimantan Provincial Government supports the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government's target of eight percent economic growth
South Kalimantan Regional Secretary Roy Rizali Anwar in Banjarbaru, Monday, has instructed all heads of regional government working units (SKPDs) to evaluate 2024 development and planning for 2025 fiscal year.
"So, please all SKPDs ensure performance and study for next year," he said as he conveyed direction to all SKPDs related to the 2024 development evaluation and 2025 planning.

Roy emphasized that there must be an increase in 2025 development compared to achievements in 2024 by optimizing all potential sectors in South Kalimantan.
He said the challange of eight percent target is a target that become reference to be implemented in South Kalimantan Babussalam.
"Mr Prabowo wants this eight percent economic growth to be achieved beginning with a positive thingking, then strive for incoming investment, including developing MSMEs so that it can increase employment opportunities," he said.
Roy disclosed that the target will be strived for by increasing investment, sectors with the most potential, downstreaming, then renewable energy which has the potential in South Kalimantan.
He mentioned dams empowerment by carrying out multi-function and micro-hydro energy utilizing renewable energy, such as procuring solar panels.
Roy also discussed the evaluation of the Meratus Geopark which is said to be the most potential in South Kalimantan tourism that needs supports, including religious tourism that must be attention for the Tourism Agency togetherwith other SKPDs, including district and city government throughout South Kalimantan.
