Banjarmasin, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - The South Kalimantan Trade Office has been successful in carrying out trade mission by bringing in a number of embassy representatives to promote local products in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Bali.
Head of the Trade Office Sulkan here on Friday said that the results of evaluation showed that the South Kalimantan had successfully particicated in trade mission in the three provinces.
“In Jakarta, we brought in ambassador representatives, in Yogyakarta we presented successful exporters, shared knowledge and met with potential buyers, and in Bali we signed cooperation agreements,” he said.
Sulkan expounded that South Kalimantan presenting superior export potential products to be promoted at trade mission in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Bali.
Then, exporters from South Kalimantan inked cooperation for local superior products with buyers in Bali.
“So the two provinces collaborating to export to the destination country. The products stated in the agreement are products made of ulin or ironwood such as carvings, household utensils, and others,” he said.
Sulkan hopes that South Kalimantan will again take part in the similar activities in the future with new innovation. The trade mission is supported by Governor Sahbirin Noor to increase export other than mining and plantation products.
