Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - PT Adaro Indonesia (Adaro) together with Amanah Bangun Negeri Foundation (YABN) has launched Indonesian Resilient Healthy Children (PASTI) program to strengthen nutritional intervention and support child growth and development in Balangan and Tabalong disricts, South Kalimantan.
This is Adaro and YABN's effort to promote a more integrated approach by involving schools, teachers, parents, experts, and 16 catering partners to support children's nutritional needs from early age.
PT Adaro Indonesia President Director Priyadi stated that strengthening early childhood nutrition is a crucial foundation in creating healthy, intelligent, and resilient generation in Indonesian in the future.
“Children development is not a single party's responsibility, but a shared responsibility," he remarked at the launch of PASTI here, Wednesday (May 13, 2026).

He believes that education and health are key factors in supporting the quality of human resources and healthy children is the foundation for the birth of intelligent and resilient generation of Indonesia in the future.
In addition to focus on nutrition fulfillment, the program encourages healthy life habits and character building through a healthy eating approach, parenting style, and learning environment that supports optimum growth and development.
PASTI is a continuation of PAUD (early childhood educatio) nutrition intervention pilot project haven been implemented in 2025 and showed positive results in improving children's nutritional status.
This program is scheduled to run from May to December 2026 and will reach 18 PAUDs in Balangan and Tabalong districts involving 855 childen and 106 teachers.
Chair of YABN Zuraida Murdia Hamdie said that PAUD and children's nutrition fulfillment are a key focus.

“Since supporting stunting reduction acceleration program in 2022, YABN and Adaro continue to strengthen attention to meeting nutritional needs of early childhood," she expounded, Wednesday.
Not only to improve physical health of children, the aim is also to foster healthy lifestyle as part of character education.
YABN together with Indonesia Heritage Foundation runs PAUD education program based on Character-Based Holistic Education (PHBK) concept, which emphasizing the development of children's potential, character, and holictic growth and development.
Adaro collaborates with Sinergi Indonesia Peduli Foundation (YSIP) as implementing partner and the program includes training for technical practitioners, anthropometric measurements and child health screening, consultation with specialist team and educational parenting.
Then, regular mentoring and monitoring, support for nutritious food packages, and provision of anthropometric tools and learning media.
The lauch of the program was also attended by the management of PT Adaro Indonesia and boards of YABN at the TK Negeri Pembina Paringin (the State Kindergarten of Pembina Paringin), Balangan District, South Kalimantan.
