Bandung, West Java (AntaranewsKalsel) - South Kalimantan wrestling athletes should postpone euphoria to add medals in National Sports Week (PON) XIX 2016 in West Java due to chaos on Monday.
As a result of the chaos at the game site at GOR Saparua, Bandung, the final fight of South Kalimantan wrestler Nastrusnicu Roxana Andrea had to be postponed.
The PON XIX wrestling match committee was forced to suspend all games scheduled that day, because the wrestling team from East Kalimantan went on rampage.
Even three referees rushed to the hospital, because of allegedly received a blow from East Kalimantan wrestling officials. Game equipment was also destroyed.
The clamor in the wrestling arena came after the freestyle 65 kg class match between East Kalimantan wrestlers and the host West Java. The referee's decision was for West Java to win.
Chairman of the Wrestling Association of Indonesia (PGSI) South Kalimantan H Mohammad Welny deplored the chaos.
"This should not occur. However, because the referee was too biased toward the host, another contingent did not receive, including South Kalimantan. But with South Kalimantan it was not too severe," said Welny.
He said so far the committee has not been able to confirm when the wrestling match is rescheduled, the article of the committee can not be questioned.
Most likely a wrestling match back scrollable two days ahead, because the committee should fix a match marred facility when a commotion.
"Hopefully wrestling match schedule can be implemented quickly, because we fear could damage the mental play of South Kalimantan wrestling team," he said.
