Bandung, West Java (AntaranewsKalsel) - South Kalimantan wrestler again won a gold medal in the women 63 Kg weight class at the National Sports Week (PON) XIX 2016 in West Java.
The female wrestler who contributed the second gold medal is Rida W, who defeated wrestler from East Kalimantan Anita Dewi Ningrum in the final game at GOR Saparua, Bandung, on Saturday.
With one more gold medal, then South Kalimantan until now has collected a total of seven gold medals.
"We are very confident there will be a lot of gold medal from wrestling to get, because this sport is a mainstay of our region," said Chairman of KONI South Kalimantan Bambang Heri Purnomo.
According to the contingent's head coach of wrestling H Santoso, South Kalimantan on Saturday (24/9) lowered three of his wrestlers in class 57 Kg, 63 Kg and 74 Kg.
"There still are 14 wrestlers who will compete again next, we hope also successfully won a medal, preferably gold medal as many as possible," he said.
He lamented the loss of opportunities for gold in the 74 Kg Rendy Aditya played against East Java wrestler to win the final ticket, because the judges and referees allegedly aligned to the host.
"Naturally, we suspect, the South Korean referee and the two jury also because Jabar exercise and took the coach there," said Santoso.
He said he was asking the jury and referees from South Korea was issued or may no longer lead the match.
"If the result is already established that we do understand is difficult to change again, we just asked the referee and judges from South Korea was issued," he said.
So far Kalsel which lowers 226 athletes to participate in 36 sports were already getting seven gold medals, six silver medals and six bronze medals.
