Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The spread of Coronavirus in Tabalong District continues to increase and now 216 COVID-19 patients are being treated.
The district government spokesperson for the acceleration handling of COVID-19 Task Force Taufiqurrahman Hamdie here on Sunday said there were 27 additional COVID-19 positive cases spread across seven sub-districts.
"The most additions in Murung Pudak Sub-district 15 are cases and the rest are spread over six other sub-districts," he explained.

Over two hundreds residents who were exposed to COVID-19 underwent self-isolation and only 12 patients were treated at the H Badaruddin Kasim Tanjung Hospital and Usman Dundrung Tanjung Hospital (covid centers).
Meanwhile, the recovery rate in the district also increased by 11 people, namely in Murung Pudak 6, and in Tanjung 5.
Until now the total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Tabalong has reached 2,486 with a recovery rate of 2,220 people and 50 deaths.
