Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Forest area in Tanah Laut District is not allowed be certified as property rights, said a local official.
Head of Sub Division of Administration of the Tanah Laut National Land Agency (BPN) Gusti Aseri confirms forests and other land uses (APL) may not be certified, either for community or company.
According to him, what may be granted is land use right (HGU) only for forests and APL, and there should be a permit of land using from the ministry.
"HGU will last for 30 to 35 years, after which it handed over to the local government or central government," said Gusti Aseri in Pelaihari on Thursday (20/5)
Likewise, he stated, the government land office is not allowed to be certified and only in the form of rights of use only. "While the building use rights granted to the developers, and after 30 years of running can be broken down into property rights," he said.
He hoped that the issue of land certificates should really be considered by public, lest forest areas or APL forced into a proprietary.
