Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Tabalong Health Agency provides free COVID-19 vaccination for the elderly and public service officers starting today (June 7, 2021).
Tabalong COVID-19 vaccination spokesperson Gusti Judid Ihsan Permana said this service was a follow-up to the regent's direction regarding the acceleration of vaccination implementation at the coordination meeting on evaluation of control and prevention of COVID-19.
"The COVID-19 Task Force through the Health Agency provides free mass vaccination service for elderly and public service officers," Judid said.
The mass vaccination implementation is centered at Usman Dundrung Tanjung Hospital from 8.30 to 12.00 every working day.

The elderly and public service officers who live outside the Tanjung and Murung Pudak sub-districts can participate in free vaccination in their respective puskesmas (community health center).
Judid added that after the vaccination target for the elderly and public service workers is met, they will continue to vaccinate the general population.
"We hope for community participation with awareness to the COVID-19 vaccination," said Judid.
