Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Four traffic police will be awarded for their actions thwarted trafficking of crystal methamphetamine weighing three ounces.
"I am as Banjarmasin police chief will give awards to four traffic policemen who had dared to thwart the illicit circulation of drugs," said police chief Kombes Wahyono Sik here on Tuesday.
He said four traffic policemen were identified as Brigadier Saiful Syahrial, Brigadier Reza Fakhlefi, Brigadier Yudi Herdianto, and Brigadier Marisno P.
They were appreciated for doing action that is different from their duties and functions and it is a wonderful thing and should be an example.
"The award will be given as soon as possible, whatever the shape obviously I am proud to have a member who dared to combat illicit trafficking," he said when undertaking a drug case expose.
In addition to the four traffic police, awards also goes to Narcotics Unit for responding to catch and immediately perform development.
Wahyono kept saying, catch weighing three ounces of crystal methamphetamine was a big enough a catch of evidence in the early 2015.
"It's a big catch at the beginning of the year, and in addition to methamphetamine weighing three ounces, members also seized 400 pills of happy five drugs," he said.
