Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Efforts to ease the burden of flood victims continue to be carried out by PT Adaro Indonesia together with its partners.
After previously providing basic food assistance for Balangan District, now Adaro moved to Tabalong and Central Hulu Sungai (HST).
Together with PT Saptaindra Sejati, PT Buma, PT Pamapersada Nusantara, Adaro provided logistics assistance to the main post of Social Office in Mabuun Urban Village, Saturday (Jan 16, 2021).
Head of Social Protection of the Tabalong Social Office Irwan Setiawan said the joint efforts in disaster mitigation are urgently needed, especially the disaster situation is almost evenly distributed throughout South Kalimantan.
Representing PT Adaro Indonesia, CRM Section Head of Adaro's CRM Department H Fajerianur Musadi explained that the assistance was a form of the companies' concern for neighbors who are experiencing a disaster.

Not only neighboring areas where Adaro operates, but the assistance also targets areas outside the operation, such as HST.
"In a disaster condition like this, it is the obligation for the company to provide assistance to the community," said Fajeri.
