Barabai, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Regent of Central Hulu Sungai (HST) HA Chairansyah handed over as many as 574 land certificates to the district residents at the auditorium of his office.
Meanwhile, the Land and spatial Planning Ministry (ATR/BPN) virtually held a national delivery of a million land certificates across Indonesia through the respective regional heads, Monday (Nov 9, 2020).
In Barabai, it was attended by Head of HST National Land Agency (BPN) Dicky Octavianus Kioek, HST's Assistant for Government and People Welfare H Ainur Rafiq, Head of HST's Board of Government, and representatives of certificate recipients.
Head of BPN Dicky Octavianus Kioek said that day the certificates distributed to the residents were as many as 574 plots, namely354 plots from BPN land redistribution, and 220 plots from comprehensive systematic registration program (PTSL).
He hopes the certificates and clear land ownership status would improve the economy and provide welfare for the community.

Regent HA Chairansyah thanked the HST BPN and the ATR/BPN Ministry who worked hard to carry out this program. Even though in the atmosphere of COVID-19, they still able to do the best for the people, especially those in HST.
He hopes the synergy and cooperation between the central, provincial, and district governments as well as various parties related to the implementation of the program that touch directly to the community to run smoothly without obstacles, so the target can be achieved optimally.
"It is highly expected that all HST district government ranks to play an active role in the success of this program, especially head of sub-districts, chief of villages, and related agencies," he said.
